1. Honouring the past, building for the future
The centre’s existing logo had been painted on the side of the building for decades—a symbol deeply tied to the community’s identity. Instead of replacing it, we embraced it, incorporating it into a refreshed branding strategy.
The centre’s “blue” identity was historically unspecific, so we refined and expanded their palette into five complementary shades of blue, from light to dark tones. This cohesive palette now appears consistently across the website, social media, and printed materials, giving the centre a polished and recognizable identity.
2. A WordPress redesign that works
We redesigned the centre’s existing WordPress website to transform it into a dynamic digital hub. The updated site is:

3. Revamping communication channels with cost-effective design solutions
We relaunched the centre’s e-newsletter (The Riverviewer) with a commitment to consistency—releasing it on the 1st of every month. This shift allowed us to cut the quarterly printed newsletter (The Riverview Reflector) down to twice a year, reducing printing costs while keeping the community informed and engaged.
4. Building connections with a smart social media strategy
Collaborating closely with the general manager, we developed a smart social media strategy focused on consistent, predictable posting and expanding the club’s online reach. This streamlined approach allowed for quick adjustments to event dates, ensuring clear communication and keeping the community informed. By prioritizing flexibility and shareable updates, we helped the RVCC programming stay adaptable while strengthening its connection with residents.
5. Promotional campaigns that stand out and deliver
We created custom campaign graphics designed to make each event shine. These bold, eye-catching visuals were tailored to stand out from the community center’s regular programming while staying true to the brand’s cohesive look and feel. Every design reinforced the center’s identity, making the connection between the events and the organization clear and memorable.
